Make media for Refugee Week 2010
Different Pasts, Shared Future

This is the fifth year of Refugee Week Radio, an online community media project which publicises and celebrates the events and activities of Refugee Week. Through online and community media, we aim to give a platform to refugee individuals and organisations, bring together media contributions from around the country and discuss some of the issues involved.

Refugee Week itself has been going since 1998. This year it takes place from 14-20 June, although related activities and campaigns take place all year round. The main ongoing campaign is the Simple Acts campaign: by doing one small, everyday action that can change perceptions of refugees, we can help create a society we all want to live in.
